Slip was a member of the Bad Batch, a group of elite clones with unique genetic mutations that made them exceptional soldiers. During the Clone Wars, he and his fellow clones fought bravely for the Republic, but after the war, they found themselves out of work and on their own. Slip, in particular, had always been the most anxious and paranoid of the group, and he struggled to adapt to life as a civilian.
